Scrappy Scoops - Terms and Conditions
Service Scheduling:
Scrappy Scoops provides one-time, initial, weekly, and bi-weekly dog waste removal services. Service scheduling is based on route efficiency; a specific service day is provided, but exact times are estimates.
Our operating hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While we occasionally finish our route earlier, we rarely arrive past 5:30 PM.
We provide an estimated arrival time up to one hour prior to our arrival.
Clients must ensure the cleaning area is accessible while they are not home.
Dog Safety Policy:
While we love dogs, for liability purposes, all dogs must be properly secured indoors during our service. No dogs are permitted in the yard during our service visits.
Billing and Payments:
Services must be prepaid for the week or month.
If payment is not received 24 hours prior to the scheduled service day, services will not be scheduled.
We accept credit and debit cards, cash, and electronic transfers such as Venmo or Zelle. We also offer convenient automated payments with a card on file.
No refunds are given for missed services if the yard is inaccessible.
Prepayments:
All ScrappyScoops services require prepayment prior to service.
Payment must be received no later than 24 hours before the scheduled service date.
Automatic Credit Card Payments
Card on File Required
To initiate recurring services (weekly or bi-weekly), you must provide a valid credit or debit card on file. Payment information is processed securely through our payment processor; we do not store full card details.
When Cards Are Charged
One-Time / Initial Services: Cards or payment methods are charged before service begins (deposit upon scheduling, balance due upon completion).
Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly Recurring Services: Cards on file are charged in advance of each billing period (e.g., weekly or monthly charge prior to services rendered on the first of each month or each Sunday).
Automatic Billing Authorization
By providing your card, you authorize Scrappy Scoops to charge scheduled service fees and any additional applicable charges (e.g., additional time for initial clean).
Late & Failed Payment Handling
Late Payment Policy
If full payment is not received at least 24 hours before the scheduled service day, the service may be delayed or cancelled until payment clears.
Failed Payments
If a card charge fails:
We will notify you via email/text.
You must update payment information within 48 hours of notification.
If unresolved after 48 hours services will be suspended until payment is resolved.
Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of your account.
Nonpayment & Missed Services
If payment is not received 24 hours before service, the client’s service will be removed from the route for that service day.
Missed service days due to nonpayment will be charged, as waste accumulation continues during missed visits.
Service Gaps & Initial Cleanings
If two (2) weeks or more pass without service for any reason, an initial cleaning will be required before resuming regular service.
Missed Appointments:
If our technicians cannot access your yard once on site due to locked gates, aggressive pets, or obstructions, you will be charged in full. We may scoop double on the next visit or try to reschedule if possible.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made prior to 24 hours before the scheduled service day (starting 7:00 AM on the day of service). Will be eligible for a 25% refund of the regular service upon request.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service day (starting 7:00 AM on the day of service) will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service price.
Subscription Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel 48 hours before your first visit of the billing cycle, we’ll issue a full refund or credit. Once any visit is completed that month, no refunds are issued.
Refund Policy:
No refunds once service is performed. If we missed something, contact us within 24 hours, and we’ll make it right or return at no cost.
Yard Conditions:
Yards must be maintained in a condition that allows safe and effective service.
Excessive debris, hazards, or overgrown grass that obstruct waste removal may result in a suspension of services.Clients will receive one courtesy notification if the lawn is not being adequately maintained. If the condition is not corrected, services will be suspended, and approval of an initial cleaning fee will be required before recurring service may resume.
Clients must ensure the cleaning area is accessible while they are not home. We cannot wait for someone to provide access.
Weather Policy:
Services may be rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions at the discretion of Scrappy Scoops.
Liability:
Scrappy Scoops is not responsible for damage to landscaping, sprinklers, or other yard fixtures.
If dogs create harm or damage while we are present, these terms and conditions are void, services will be discontinued, and the client will be charged for any damages incurred.
Communication:Please inform us of any changes regarding yard access or service preferences to ensure smooth service delivery.
Service rates are based on the number of dogs in the household. Clients must notify Scrappy Scoops of any new pets prior to their scheduled visit.
Disclaimer Regarding Media Usage for Scrappy Scoops Social Media:
We take photos/videos during service for social media to showcase our work.
We prioritize your privacy; no personal information will be shared.
Media will focus on our service, not individuals or personal belongings.
By using our services, you consent to incidental media capture.
Deposits
Deposits (e.g., for initial cleans) are non-refundable once the schedule is confirmed and the service date has been set.
Privacy and Security
We collect and use your payment and contact information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment data is processed securely by our payment processor and is not stored by Scrappy Scoops.
Agreement Acceptance
Scrappy Scoops reserves the right to update or modify these Terms.
By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
